The Chronicles of Michael (pt5)

From the Book of Michael.

Speak.

Lord, give me the strength to accept what i cannot change.

Like a Diamond behind a shop window,
Like Gold in the vaults of a bank.
Like Freedom on the outside of your prison cell,
Like a Lover on the other side of the world.

You can't reach it, no matter how hard you try.
For some, it is the first thing on your mind when you wake up,(Genuine)
The only thing on your mind as you fall asleep. (Sincere)
A reason to get up in the morning, (my heart skips a beat when i see you)
A reason to go to bed at night.
But you can't get to it, no matter how hard you try.
Your every effort, futile. Your every attempt fails.

So you relegate yourself to the side lines.
You sit in the silence, contented to look.
You feel like something is missing, But at the same time, you're filled with happiness.
You smile, knowing this is as far as you'll go and
you smile, knowing this is all you'll need.
(Sylid, forgive me, i'm only human. My heart is stronger than my mind.)

And lord, give me the strength to change what i cannot accept.

I won't sit there. And watch the world go by.
I'll break that glass window and blow open the vault.
I'll escape from prison and fly a plane.
(For you i'll do anything. I'm that Stupid.)
Except Give up.
I'm the Terminator, i'll fight till the end. Till there is nothing left of me to fight.

-Michael
