What if you could go back in time? Relive your memories as you knew them, right your wrongs, become your own forgiveness for your sins. What if the means of time travel is not a machine but a person?
What if ever time you saw this person you were reminded of your past? Each stare brings you back to a time, not so long ago when your heart battered out its first beat. When you first felt that snag, like you're a fish who just bit the hook. But it also makes you remember, you hated this person. The feeling was mutual, so it never amounted to anything.
Nevermind that, that look back into the past was fun enough, but it reminds you of something else.
How can you keep this up? Its been 2 years at least, soon or later we all have to exorcize our demons. Without your demons, where do you find the fuel to burn that fire in your soul? What if you begin to realize you're nothing without your demons?
Fire burns your body, Hellfire burns your soul and that happens to be exactly whats needed.
